Music is my refuge. My journey as a music creator began in high school, where I first dived into music composition and lyric writing during my sophomore year. By the time I reached my senior year, I had released my first original song. Throughout high school, the pressures of academic demands and the college application process weighed heavily on me, so music became my escape. During moments of free time, I would sit at my desk, compose, and record, finding solace in the creative process. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of holding four live performances at local livehouses in my hometown of Changsha, China. I’ve also created two songs for a prominent company for business use, though I’m unable to disclose the name due to an NDA. Music continues to be a powerful outlet for me, allowing me to express and navigate my personal experiences.
Fashion is my passion. From a young age, I’ve always been fascinated by the way clothing and style can express individuality and creativity. My love for fashion has shaped much of who I am today, not just as a hobby, but as an integral part of my identity. Over the years, I’ve developed a keen eye for trends, blending them with my personal sense of style, and using fashion as a form of self-expression. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a couple of design projects, helping my friend create two pairs of jeans and two t-shirts for his brand over two seasons. This hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of fashion design. In my free time, I also immerse myself in the world of fashion by reading books and watching shows by renowned designers like Demna and Virgil Abloh. These sources of inspiration continue to push me to explore new aesthetics and challenge conventional ideas.
